I work with some pretty awesome people.

I really miss baking. Baked goods just aren’t the same here in Bangkok. They have a lot of stuff figured out, but baking isn’t one of them. I wanted to bring cupcakes for my kids on my birthday, but I don’t have an oven at my apartment. Nadia, our PE coach, does though! We had a baking night and made cupcakes for my class and the other grade one class. So fun and the kids loved it.

At lunch, Stephanie got me an ice cream cake and had everyone in the cafeteria sing to me. It was really sweet, and the cake was delicious.

I went out to dinner with some co-workers that evening. It was fun getting everyone together for good company and good food.

Saturday night some of the gals took me out to Khao San Road. To sum up what its like…. Dirty hippy backpackers, loud music, crazy street food, strange smells, good people watching, and a great time! They charge you to take a photo of the cooked bugs for sale… so I took them from someone else’s instagram account. Scorpions on a stick, I can’t even.
